We believe childhood should be a time for exploration, play, and growth - not a time when kids are told to question whether their body is the right one for them.

Medical gender transition for those under 18 should be off the table in Canada. Kids cannot fully understand the long-term side effects and consequences of hormone therapies and sex-change surgeries and so cannot consent to them.

Canada needs to follow the lead of other countries and put the brakes on medical transitions for minors.

Euthanasia should never be solution for suffering.

Allowing euthanasia for those with disabilities and chronic illness encourages ableism and marginalizes those who are suffering. It wrongly suggests that the lives of people with disabilities and chronic illness are less worth living than the lives of able-bodied Canadians.

In 2021, Canada expanded euthanasia to those who are not dying.

Canada should not be a place that kills its sick, disabled, or elderly. We should support people so they can live well, not support or encourage their wish to die.

Canada is the only democracy in the world to have zero legal protection for pre-born children. This is a sad reflection on a country that prides itself on a high standard of human rights. Every other country recognizes the humanity of pre-born children at some point, and has found a way to protect them. We seek common ground with all Canadians to develop a starting point for laws protecting our youngest neighbours.

The gap between public opinion and public policy regarding abortion legislation is growing, and we need to increase pressure on our government to take action to end the injustice of almost 100,000 deaths each year in Canada.
